The Young And The Restless spoilers reveal that the speculation and rumor mill is churning again. A little birdie told us that Michelle Stafford, aka Phyllis Summers, is leaving Genoa City. From the looks of it, it looks like Phyllis really is leaving the show. Lovely Stafford responded to her fans’ questions related to Phyllis’s exit.

The rumpus began when Summer offered Phyllis a job in Milan. Ever since then, fans have been wondering if she’s leaving the show. Not only that, but a recent episode also saw Michael Baldwin giving a speech about why Phyllis should stay in Genoa city and not move to Italy. His monologue worked as fuel to the fire.
Making things personal, Michelle shared Michael’s monologue on her Instagram and wrote about how much she loves acting with the most amazing cast. She also gave viewers an insight into the scene that she posted along with Michael and Amanda.
Baldwin said some great things about what a great woman Phyllis has become since she came to the town. Since there were rumors about Phyllis leaving the show, her fans took the liberty to ask her about her exit. Michelle was kind enough to tell what was actually going on.
On Instagram, one concerned fan wrote, “I hope that all that talk about Phyllis leaving doesn’t mean that you are leaving too?” To which Stafford responded, “I am!!” and it scared lots of fans, but an earlier comment on the same post clarified that she would be exiting from the show but not for long. Another Y&R viewer wrote on Michelle’s January 16 Instagram post, “After today’s episode of Y&R it looks like you may be leaving.. I hope not,” Michelle replied, “Yes!! For 2 weeks!!”. The fans took a sigh of relief after her response.
Now, Viewers can put the pieces of the puzzle in their places. Michael and Amanda were not in support of Phyllis moving away completely. But they will support her in spending some quality time away with Summer in Milan. On another note, Jack Abbott might come back home very soon. Spoilers reveal that the next week of January 31 to February will also bring good things for Jack and Phyllis.
