In the old Summer-Kyle fashion, they keep deciding to get married and keep canceling it. Would they go through their plan this time? How would that affect Sally’s Plan? The Young And The Restless: What Has Happened So Far?
The Young and the Restless viewers who have been keeping up with the show know that Summer and Kyle were all set to get the ball rolling. They had planned to get married soon. However, everything fell apart when Tara came to their engagement party with little Harrison. Everything about Kyle and Tara’s affair came out. Then, Kyle agreed to step up and protect Harrison from Ashland. And when Ashland came to know that Kyle is Harrison’s father, the hell broke loose. Things got so messy that Summer found it really hard to handle any of it. So, she and Kyle agreed to postpone the wedding.
Viewers would also know that ever since Kyle started getting closer to Harrison, Summer felt really insecure about what would happen next. She was afraid that Kyle and Tara might come together. There was a point a few days ago when Summer said to Phyllis that sometimes she felt that it would be so much better if Kyle and Summer could get married now. They would face together whatever is coming next as a team. So it looks like Summer is going through this thought and making it a reality so that she could support Kyle in this battle.
Summer And Kyle’s Wedding Is Back On!
The official Twitter handle of The Young and the Restless recently posted a preview for the upcoming week that sees Summer and Kyle looking radiant and holding the pastries from Phyllis’ favorite bakery. Nick, Jack, and Phyllis are all gathered together, really worried about what the two of them have to tell them. Phyllis asks them if there is some bad news. Then, Kyle says that he and Summer hope that their parents, Nick, Phyllis, and Jack, love them enough to trust them on this. Summer then revealed the good news to the three of them that the wedding is back on!
Keeping in mind the kind of looks Summer and Kyle’s parents exchanged, it looks like Phyllis, Nick, and Jack aren’t really confident with what these two love birds have decided. Viewers know that Phyllis and Nick already have some reservations when it comes to this wedding. As there are a number of elements in the whole Kyle-Summer storyline that are quite unstable. So, it is only appropriate that the parents will be worried about their kids. What do Summer and Kyle have in mind? We will have to wait to know.
How Will The Wedding Affect Sally and Tara?
Speaking of the wedding back on the table, we can’t help but wonder how all of it would affect Sally and Tara? Sally has come up with a plan to send Summer away from Genoa City. But now that Summer and Kyle have planned to get married, would Sally be successful with her plan? On the other hand is Tara, who is trusting Kyle with her child and her protection. So, she might start getting insecure if Summer comes into the mix. We will have to wait to see what happens on The Young and the Restless next. The soap opera airs on CBS all weekdays.
