As per the latest news, General Hospital’s Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) and The Young and the Restless’s Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) are parting ways. The couple recently got married after dating for five years. But now, Soap Opera Digest has confirmed that they are calling it quits.
As Tv Season & Spoilers had earlier reported, the couple got married on October 23, 2021, in a gothic-themed wedding. But a big party doesn’t really mean a bright future. Unfortunately, it looks like this is what has happened to Chad and Courtney. While they were great as partners, being man and wife did not plan well for them.
There were some hints of things going south for them before this news surfaced. Hope had started deleting pictures of Chad and their wedding from her Instagram, and this was the first sign. But now the information is confirmed. It is always a sad thing when real-life couples separate. So, fans have been giving quite sad reactions to this. Many fans have pointed out how they looked good together, and, it is unfortunate, they are now parting ways.
As for their professional lives, both Chad and Courtney are busy with some very interesting storylines. Courtney’s character in The Young and the Restless- Sally is working with Adam on more than one wicked storyline. She is being paired with a number of characters in the soap opera. On the other hand, Chad has some interesting storylines going on in General Hospital as well. Chad’s character Michael has suddenly turned cold and evil from being all soft and good. There is speculation that he might come to know about Nina and Sonny’s closeness in the upcoming days. So, if that happens, Michael will explode. Not only that, Parry Shen is coming back. So, this will cause some drama in Michael’s personal life. This makes his character a part of some very interesting storylines.
