The Young And The Restless star Melissa Ordway who plays the character of Abby on the soap opera recently bid goodbye to her fur baby. And she is obviously in tears. All the Young And The Restless fans know that Melissa is not only a mother to her two daughters but also to three pups- Lily, Teddy, and Riley. This pain is just like losing a baby, and she took onto her social media to share this sad news with her fans and followers.
Offering a heartbreaking tribute to her lost fur-baby, the actress posted a number of pictures with Riley and said- “My heart breaks as i write this, Riley, my companion, my journal, my first child, the sweetest boy. One of a kind. I’ll never forget the first time I saw you. You stole my heart. 16 years of memories. Thank you for being an angel here on earth. Now you’re amongst all the angels in heaven. I know you’re playing with your brothers and running after a soccer ball. I love you. We all love you. We will miss you every day”.
As soon as Melissa Ordway posted this update, her fans started offering sympathies. Lauren Bell, who plays the character of Christine, says that she is thinking of Melissa and all of her family very hard. Courtney Hope also showed her sympathy and said that she was very, very sorry. She said that it was sending them love. While Sally is Abby’s onscreen nemesis, she is a great person in real life and shows a lot of sentiment. Back on Mother’s Day, Ordway had shared a picture of herself along with all her human and fur babies. She posed while being surrounded by all the babies and captioned the picture with “All my babies that have made me a momma in one photo… I’m a happy girl. Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there!
