It looks like Michael Mealor is making many changes in his life. The actor recently announced that he was leaving The Young and the Restless. Michael, who joined the cast of the soap opera back in 2018, has had a great run. But now, he is exiting. Not just that, the actor recently shared his new look with everyone. Just a day after announcing his exit, Mealor posted a selfie where he looks very different. His hair is shorn off, and that has left him with a spiffy buzzcut. Check out Mealor’s post here-
As expected, everyone is going gaga over this new look. Jason Thompson, who plays Billy on The Young and the Restless, commented that he loves this haircut. Bryton James commented with two strong arms showing how he is in favor of this change. Not just Mealor’s castmates, or should we say ex-castmates, but his fans appreciated this change. One fan says that he looks so good. Another fan told Michael that he looked handsome like this. One thing that all fans seem to say in his comments is how they will miss him as Kyle.
Michael is leaving the soap, and reportedly he has also shot his last scenes. While we don’t know what his exit storyline will be, it looks like it will have something to do with him jetting off to Italy. His counterpart- Summer Newman (Hunter King), has already relocated to Italy. She was being threatened by Kyle’s baby momma- Tara. It is possible that Tara’s truth might come out, and Kyle would go off to Italy to build a life with Summer.
Whatever the case might be, we know that this exit will leave a hole in The Young and the Restless. Everyone will miss him a lot.
