The Young And The Restless: Happy Birthday, Michelle!
The gorgeous and talented actress Michelle Stafford of The Young and The Restless just turned 57! Yeah, we had to check the date a few times too! She just doesn’t look it! Michelle was born on 14th September 1965, in Chicago, Illinois. Initially starting her career in modeling, she later moved on to acting. In 1990 she acted in FOX network’s daily serial Tribes.
In 1994, Michelle bagged the role on The Young and the Restless, where she was to play the villainess Phyllis Summers. Initially, it was touted as a cameo or extended cameo at best. But, the head writer and executive producer William J. Bell was so impressed by her performance as Phyllis that Michelle was placed on contract, and the rest, as they say, is history. She also received much fanfare for her role on General Hospital as Nina Reeves, which she later left in favor of The Young and The Restless.
Feeling overwhelmed by all the love and blessings she received from her fans and loved ones. The Young and The Restless star took to Instagram to pen out a heartfelt thank you note to everyone. Sharing a picture of an Oscar Wilde quote, Michelle Stafford, wrote, “On my birthday, I would like to share this Oscar Wilde quote with you. It was then and will always be true.” She further expressed, “Thank you for the birthday wishes. I am overwhelmed with gratitude. And the day isn’t even over. I just had to say thank you. I love you all back.”
May It All Come True!
Apart from this heart-touching message, Michelle also posted on her Instagram story a video of herself. She is seen blowing the candle on her birthday cake, but one remains lit! “Oh No! she exclaimed, “I guess it won’t come true”, she joked. Well, we sure hope and pray that whatever that wish was, it does come true for you, Gorgeous! “Getting 99 out of 100 wishes is pretty good,” she wrote on the video, and we agree!
