The Young And The Restless spoilers reveal that their favorite Summer Newman, Hunter King, left the CBS soap back in August 2021. She left the show because of contract issues. To send Summer away, the show created a storyline where Summer bags a job at Marchetti in Italy. Kyle moved to Italy after her and they got married. Since then, Summer and Kyle have been living a rather happy life there.
Recently, The Young And The Restless brought Summer back. Viewers didn’t get to see her but we at least heard her. The unrest began when Summer offered a job to her mother, Phyllis, and asked her to come to Italy. Ever since then, everybody has been wondering if Summer is making a comeback.
Y&R fans want her back on the show, but it looks like the actress is busy outside of the soap. It’s good news for the actress that she bagged a new role in a new film. The film is expected to come out by the end of this year. The untitled thriller by Top Dead Center Films is written by Julie Auerbach and Kevin Tavolaro and directed by Gary Auerbach. Aside from Hunter King, who will play the role of Jael Jones, other cast includes Elyfer Torres and Mauricio Ochmann.
While King is busy with her movie, Y&R viewers also know she is still a recurring character in the soap. So, she can come back later down the road.
