The Young and The Restless is all about happiness and celebrations right now! It is riding high on achieving the rare feat of hitting the 50 years milestone. The Bicentennial Gala is serving as the backdrop for the celebrations on-screen. But.. but..but.. This is The Young and The Restless we are talking about, so for how long really can the festivities last without take a turn for some mind-blowing drama? Not too long! Phyllis and Jeremy have already made it clear that they will be shaking the very foundation of Genoa City by what they have planned to pull off! But will their plan go as flawlessly as they have plotted? Or will there be some unforeseen disaster?
History has taught us that nothing ever goes as planned in the soap universe, and The Young and The Restless is no different! So whatever Phyllis and Jeremy have planned, has more chances of blowing up into a huge disaster than to work out according to the words on paper. But if the scheme goes sideways, who will fall victim to the tragedy? Here are some of our top picks, have a read, and then tell us if you agree! The Abbott Family, according to us, is on top of the “at-risk” list on The Young and The Restless. We know that Phyllis and Jack’s actual target is Diane Jenkins. However, Jack is hellbent on keeping her safe from any harm whatsoever. Thus, there is a high chance that Jack would try to shield Diane and take a hit if a violent situation arises. The same stands true for Kyle! He is on his mother’s side if a battle ensues and might up become a victim trying to keep his mother and father safe.
Next in line would be the baddies of the hour on The Young and The Restless. There is a possibility that Phyllis will turn the tables on Jeremy and expose him in front of everyone. This will not only eliminate him as a threat, but also make her a hero. However, Phyllis is so at the end of her wits that being a hero is the last thing on her mind. All she cares about is taking down Diane. So it might happen that she will start to feel the plan is going off the rail. Hence, in an attempt to improvise, she might take a drastic measure that could land her in deep trouble.
Meanwhile, another plausible storyline could be that an innocent bystander might become collateral damage. Sally, Summer, and Sharon could all be sitting ducks for this one on The Young and The Restless. Sally is pregnant with two men fighting over her. It would make for such a dramatic turn if she gets severely injured. On the other hand, Sharon really has nothing much going on. So if she becomes collateral damage, it will bring her back to the center! Last but not the least, it would be such a wake-up call for Phyllis if Summer becomes caught up in the crosshairs of her plot with Jeremy!
