Despite this, the Abbotts seem to have missed Tucker’s clever side. In The Young And The Restless December 12 episode, Jack, Diane, Ashley, Billy, and Jill all see Tucker as a big threat to Jabot and Chancellor-Winters.
However, their plan to stop him and put him in his place doesn’t seem strong enough against someone as savvy as Tucker. During the week of December 4, Tucker and Ashley purchased the beauty/fragrance company Glacade together. This was supposed to be a big part of the Simply Ashley brand, a project they were working on when Ashley decided to leave Jabot.
The Young And The Restless fans know they are no longer romantically together. But they still share ownership of Glacade. Tucker wants to make the business a strong competitor against Jabot. The Abbotts believe Tucker’s strategy is to create conflict between them, tarnishing or destroying their family company’s legacy.
Taking advantage of their distrust and confessions, Tucker could get a big part of the beauty market, upsetting the Abbotts. Thinking they know what Tucker’s up to, the Abbotts and Jill are focused on getting Ashley to sell her part of Glacade to Tucker for a high price, hoping to cut down his money. Once Tucker has the company, the Abbotts want to reveal that he was involved in a sexual misconduct cover-up, possibly ruining his new business and leaving him with nothing.

But this new plan seems a bit shaky to us. Firstly, in the December 8, 2023, episode, Ashley told Tucker she wouldn’t sell her share. But in the December 12, 2023, episode, she says she has changed her mind and now wants hefty payment for her share in the business. Will Tucker simply accept Ashley’s decision to sell, or is there something more suspicious going on? Besides, as we’ve already talked about, Tucker is a clever businessman. It doesn’t seem likely that he’d go after the Abbotts without having backup plans if things go wrong.
Now is a good time to bring up that when Ashley first said she didn’t want to sell her part of Glacade, Tucker asked his lawyer to find a way around it. So The Young And The Restless fans speculate that maybe Tucker will get Ashley’s share of the company without paying her, which would definitely mess up the Abbotts’ plan. Let’s imagine, for a moment, that the Abbotts’ plan works. Going a bit further, let’s say Tucker becomes a big problem in the media because of his role in the McCall Unlimited cover-up. We don’t think Tucker will end up in a really bad situation like Jack thinks.
Don’t forget Tucker invested in Mamie’s company, which now has a share in Chancellor-Winters. He might recover his investment by getting a small piece of his biological mom’s company through Mamie. This move would definitely upset Jill, as she knows getting along with Tucker can be risky. Also, as we’ve mentioned before, we don’t remember Tucker and Ashley signing a prenup when they got married this summer. If Tucker loses his money, he might decide to go after Ashley in a divorce settlement.
