For the unversed, The Daytime Legend opened up about a personal crisis in a recent Facebook Live chat. Eric opened up about his current fight with prostate cancer. Not too long ago, he underwent a knee replacement surgery. However, he recovered well from it. But later, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The star recounted the whole story of how and what led to the diagnosis in his Facebook chat.
Currently, The Young and The Restless star is undergoing a special treatment, BCG, to help fight his health crisis. Eric has already undergone two sessions of treatment so far. But the route to recovery will be long. While we know that Eric is a fighter and has emerged victorious over many personal struggles in the past, we still wonder how his current situation will affect his character, Victor Newman, on The Young and The Restless.
Victor “Moustache” Newman is known to rule with an iron fist in Genoa City. He is a force to reckon with and loves to have the upper hand over everything and everyone on The Young and The Restless. One of the biggest key plots on the soap is Victor’s constant meddling in his children’s lives. After all, The Moustache has to be in control of everything at all times! This has often proved to be the biggest reason for all the clashes his children have with him.
However, these days Victor is all about trying to unite his family into one consolidated unit on The Young and The Restless.
