Victor’s Disdain For Sally Spectra
Honestly, it is not only Victor but the entire Newman clan that seems to have unexplained beef with Sally on The Young and The Restless, barring Nick and Adam, of course. Given Summer and Sally’s history, we can still give Summer a pass for hating Sally’s guts. But Victoria fired her for no logical reason. Sally was doing wonders at her job at Newman Media. Moreover, Victoria could’ve easily accommodated Nate if she wanted to. But she was so quick to kick Sally to the curb and replace her with Nate that it felt achingly personal. But even Victoria’s aversion to Sally fades in comparison to the one Victor harbors!
And Victor’s hatred for Sally is the one that makes the least sense of them all on The Young and The Restless. Sally and Victor have never had a personal conflict or altercation. Sally has never stood in the way of any of the Newman Patriarch’s pursuits. So why is he so against Sally? He has stood by silently and watched his sons date bigger troublemakers like Phyllis and Chelsea. And he never rocked those boats with the same ferocity as with Sally!
What Is The Missing Piece In The Young and The Restless Puzzle?
In the current scenario, there is nothing about Sally that would rub Victor the wrong way on The Young and The Restless. In fact, the kind of man Victor is, one would expect him to like Sally! She is a fierce go-getter who never stays down! Doesn’t that sound like Victor himself? So there has to be something from Sally’s past that doesn’t sit well with him. Is it possible that Victor knows Sally from before? Perhaps long before she came to Genoa City.
