However, now, they will be diving deep. All over the fifth season, the creators have been developing Tess’s story in an intricate manner. The episode will start with her coming out to her parents, rebelling on social media with the group of friends at school to her revealing that she is now dating Alex, who had been her BFF until now, the equation will change.

The trailer for This is Us Season 5 Episode 12 is out, and it starts off with Randall and Beth sitting in the kitchen where Randall asks Beth if she is okay with Tess having Alex over to their home for the first time. Then, the video clip jumps to a scene where Tess and Alex are cuddling in the bedroom when suddenly Beth opens the door and finds the couple together. Later Tess says that Beth is quite filled with judgment. She says that she had seen the look on Beth’s face when she saw Tess with Alex.
In the meantime, Beth looks at Tess with utter disbelief asking her what look and putting it out there that she didn’t give a look. This is Us preview video then jumps again where Beth sits down with Tess and is really honest. At the moment, Tess says that it makes her wonder if they will be very close again and the promo ends.
What Would Happen When This Is Us Season 5 Episode 12 Comes Back?
When NBC dropped this trailer, many viewers became concerned about Tess and Beth. Some even speculated that Ben was just reacting to her daughter’s first relationship as opposed to the sexual orientation. However, the last comment that Beth makes in the trailer makes us feel that maybe there will be a rift in the family. The synopsis for the upcoming episode is out, and it reveals that more things are coming up. The synopsis for the episode states that Jack and Miguel bond while Kevin and Madison navigate the challenges. Randall, on the other hand, seeks out a new support network.
Jack and Miguel’s bonding feels like a sign that the past is bound to pick up, and it wouldn’t take very long for that to happen after Jack’s dinner with his bosses. Randal, on the other hand, will find this new support system in the face of his mother-in-law’s residency. Kevin and Madison will have new challenges because it doesn’t look like Uncle Nicky’s trip will happen anytime soon. So, that makes them five in their house, and it could be difficult in any relationship, especially with being new parents.
