Titans Season 3: Curran Walters Teased Season 3 Theme In His New Instagram Post- Cast Status, Release Date, And More

HBO Max

Curran Walters and his vague teases have raised so many questions for the new theme of Titans Season 3. However, one thing is clear that the entire Titans team will move from their chaotic past to a new or perhaps familiar place for a few. But it doesn’t look like everyone would encourage Titans, and there’s a huge possibility that their own friends would turn into their biggest rival of all time.

Based on the DC comic book titled Teen Titans, Titans launched two seasons back to back on DC Universe in 2019. However, during DC Universe’s restructuring, Titans shifted its home to HBO Max. It follows the young superheroes fighting with the evils to save the innocent citizens. As it progressed, they discover some new threats in disguise.

Titans Season 3: BTS Teased Titans New Base

Curran Walters, who plays Jason Todd, has recently shared a cryptic behind-the-scenes image on his Instagram. That focus on a rusty old road sign that reads “You are now leaving Gotham” with a crew member standing below it. Walters simply captioned it “Gotham.” Well, the showrunner Greg Walker already revealed that Titans would set primarily in Gotham. It means the team has moved from San Francisco or Detroit to Gotham City. However, it’s unclear who’s leaving the city.

Titans Season 3: What To Expect?

Well, the upcoming season would indeed pick up from the last drastic finale, and as Lance Ausfresser said, it won’t be a good sign for Jason Todd. Fans would see Jason turning into Red Hood in the upcoming season, who might often challenge Titans. Even there’s a high chance of big conflict between the sisters Starfire and Blackfire. However, Titans would soon learn to stay together as the showrunner said Dove would help them select the right path and remain united.

Titans Season 3: Who Will Join The Team?

Now that Titans moved to Gotham city in the third season, it will introduce some more DC characters in Titans. It seems that Barbara Gordon and Jonathan Crane will interfere in Titans’ work. Back in January, the streamer broke the news that Savannah Welch will take the Batgirl mantle. Walter’s Jason Todd will forgo Robin Hodd’s mantle and accepts his infamous comic persona, Red Hood.

Batman (Iain Glen) will eventually need a new buddy, so actor Jay Lycurgo has been cast to play the next Robin, Tim Drake. Besides them, dog actor Pepsi has been cast to play the iconic dog superhero Krypto in the third season. However, Dr. Jonathan Crane is yet to cast.

Who Will Return?

Titans stars will indeed return for their new battle in Gotham city. Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson will return with Anna Diop as Kory Anders and Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth. Conor Leslie as Donna Troy with Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan and Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger will also return. Joshua Orpin as Superboy, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall, and Chelsea Zhang as Rose Wilson will return as well. Damaris Lewis as Blackfire and Chella Man as Jericho will also return. Besides them, Drew Van Acker as Aqualad will return with Esai Morales as Deathstroke.
