Although this break is a must for his recovery, fans are quite sad. They were looking forward to his portrayal of Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV Soap. According to reports, Alan will be seen for just a few more weeks before his break from the show. But what will be his exit storyline?

Alan Halsall recently shared the news of his ACL surgery. Post-surgery, he has confirmed a break from the Coronation Street for the recovery. The 41-year-old actor posted an image on his Instagram handle. In the picture, he could be seen lying on a bed as he put a positive thumbs up to the camera. He captioned, “ ACL Reconstruction surgery ✔️. I have been told the surgery went really well.” He continued, “I know I have a long 9-12 months of rehabilitation ahead of me, but I’m sure with the support of family & friends, I’ll get there. 👊”
Tyrone Dobbs’ exit from Coronation Street had to be written in since the actor will now need time to recover. Alan will stay on screen for a few more weeks for a short break. Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that the operation has caused Alan to withdraw from his appearance on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.
According to the reports, It’s a terrible setback, but there’s no way he can fly to Australia. Alan needs to recover completely before participating next year. The source stated to The Mirror, “It’s a huge tragedy because everyone was really looking forward to having him on the program.”
