Unexpected: Anthony Tampers With Ankle Monitor, Flees The Scene!

As he appeared on Unexpected years ago, fans never got a good vibe from Anthony Vanelli. Even his relationship with Rilah Ferrer was no less than toxic, and viewers felt worried for the former. After multiple criminal charges against the teen dad, he has added another to the list. It turns out that Seminole County Police made the arrest on February 16, 2022. In fact, it happened after the star tried to take his ankle monitor off and run from the cops. As per the report, the strap tamper alarm cautioned the officer at 6:25 pm.

That’s because he was wearing the monitor owing to EMPACT, i.e., Electronic Monitoring Protection and Crime Tracking program. It turns out it is a program for GPS monitoring, especially for the ones who are accused or have committed domestic violence. Seemingly, Anthony tampered with the device from his grandmother’s residence, as per Starcasm. Moreover, he fled his house by jumping the fence and escaping from the backdoor. This happened after officers tracked his location and came to the residence. In fact, they made several calls on his phone and knocked on the front door too.

Unexpected

As the Unexpected star still had the tracker on his ankle, officials could find him despite the tampering. Moreover, an officer from Altamonte Springs Police Department made the arrest at the closeby Catholic school. Therefore, Anthony now has three criminal charges against him, i.e., tampering with a monitoring device (third-degree felony), a misdemeanor count due to opposing an officer without violence, and trespassing on school grounds. Hence, he is still under custody and has a hearing planned for June 8, 2022.

Unexpected: Anthony Files Motion For Mental Competent Examination

Since his arrest, Anthony Vanelli’s attorney has filed a motion. Apparently, it took place on April 28 for an “examination” for “mental competence” to check whether he could stand trial. A day later, an expert was present for the purpose of “competency evaluation”. Eventually, on May 2, there was another order that got filed for remote psychological evaluation. That’s not the end of it. Apparently, the Unexpected castmate has multiple cases trailing behind him. It turns out Anthony first came into the limelight due to a domestic violence and altercation charge. Shockingly, Vanelli’s baby mama Rilah Ferrer was the victim in that case.

Apparently, there was another “assault” and “battery” charge against him for messing with a family member. As per the reports, he yanked their leg and got them off the bed they were in. At last, the said person had to involve the officials after this and called 911. However, Anthony had a different story to tell about the matter. As per the celebrity, he did nothing more than punch a wall in the room and “didn’t touch” the other guy. Despite this, cops took him into custody over the matter. In fact, it was his third arrest, and the current fleeing case was his fourth. Keep checking TV Season & SPoilers for more Unexpected news.
