Lala Kent came face-to-face with a rare medical condition when she went for a vacation in Hawaii. Former Vanderpump Rules star focused on her kids and her life away from drama. Before filming for The Valley started, she went for a trip to Hawaii. After returning home, Lala got tiny itchy spots on her chest and back. They soon grew into painful boils.

Lala called them “disgusting” and said she felt like “patient zero” when medical people came to treat her in hazmat suits. The biopsy showed it wasn’t a serious infection. Lala was treated with steroids and antibiotics. She also consulted a dermatologist to prevent getting scars from the boils. She said, “They put me on a steroid, two steroid creams, an antibiotic, and a steroid oral.” Despite the scare, Lala told the story with much humor and enthusiasm.

Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent has always been honest about the cosmetic work she’s had done. She never pretended that her look changed with age. Over the years, she has openly talked about Botox, lip filler, and her breast augmentation in 2022. Now, nearly four years after her last boob job, Lala is getting a revision implant surgery. She shared the news on the January 14 episode of her Untraditionally Lala podcast. “Guys, I’m getting new boobs!” she said.

Lala explained that while she loved her original implants and trusted her doctors, her body had changed significantly since giving birth to her daughter in 2024. Lala said postpartum life brought changes in her body and her breasts. She joked that her body “created life,” but her breasts made no sense to her. Physically, too, they aren’t acting right.

Her right implant has become concave and started shifting upward toward her collarbone. Doctors told her she is dealing with capsular contracture, which happens when the body starts to reject the implant over time. Moreover, she said, “And I know you guys, most of you are gonna be like, ‘Then you shouldn’t have implants.’ I’m sorry. I refuse to have my nipples down to my belly button, OK?”

Lala’s decision to get breast augmentation done is because she doesn’t feel confident in her body as a postpartum mother. The reason is partly vanity and partly health. “I’m very excited because my boobs are not something — again they fed two babies, I’m very happy about that — but I just don’t feel confident with them,” she explained.
