Welcome To Plathville star Olivia recently appeared on the “Cults to Consciousness” podcast and talked about her former mother-in-law. She claimed that the latter used to cross boundaries every time until she had to fix things. Olivia recalled how Kim tried to have control over her and Ethan. She noted that Kim decided to film her and Ethan’s wedding without even asking her once.

As per Olivia, Kim made a lot of changes during her wedding behind her back, and the TLC check also went to her. Moreover, Kim also used to go to the house that she and Ethan bought for themselves without their permission. Hence, it was the time of Olivia and Ethan’s engagement when the former finally decided to set some boundaries with Kim.

Welcome To Plathville: Olivia Says The Plaths Were Completely Different On & Off Camera!

Olivia is now telling the world that not everything they saw on Welcome To Plathville was true, as much more was going on behind the scenes. She recalled how her former in-laws gifted her a boat on the show when she and Ethan got a house together. But in reality, they were taking her to dark rooms and were trying to take “demons” out of her body. Yes, you read that right! DEMONS!

Olivia further revealed that the Plaths were way more isolated than her own family. Hence, the Plaths only had each other when they were growing up. This further created issues for Olivia as Kim wouldn’t leave her alone. She used to follow her everywhere, and if she was not present, she would send one of her daughters.

Moreover, Olivia claimed that every time Ethan sought refuge with his family, he would come back to her being more distant. She accused the Plaths of encouraging Ethan to keep more secrets from her, which further added to her disintegration of marriage. Amid all this, Olivia wasn’t allowed to talk about religion and other stuff on the show, because of which she simply couldn’t tell the world about what was actually going on.

Olivia further noted that the Plath family was in shock when Barry and Kim decided to part ways. That further made them cautious, and they were simply not welcoming to those they thought didn’t have their family’s best interests at heart. And she was part of the people who were put away.
