Welcome To Plathville star Olivia faced a lot while growing up, and that affected her in her childhood. She admitted that there was a time during her “teen years” when her family shattered her personality. The celeb recalled that her rebellious nature came to the forefront around age 15 or 16.

Olivia told her audience that girls in the church used to pray for her because they felt that she was struggling to submit to her father. This is because she cut her hair to her shoulders while wearing a bold liner and a short skirt. However, this didn’t last long. She was soon convicted and had to write a letter to the elders of the church apologizing for not submitting to her dad.

Welcome To Plathville star Olivia recently reflected on her entire life during one of the episodes of “Cults to Consciousness.” She revealed that during her childhood days, she was told that her dad was “responsible” for her until she walked down the aisle. Hence, she was always answerable to him for everything she did in the past. Amid all this, modesty was a great issue between Olivia and her father.

Olivia recalled how her father told her that he knew how men think. Hence, he wanted her to listen to him when he told her what was appropriate to wear and what was not. The best way to not commit a sin, which was making men have lustful thoughts after they looked at her, was to simply listen to her father.

But that’s not all. Olivia further revealed that her father wanted his kids to be grateful to their mother for bringing them into the world. She recalled how her father even sat down all his kids and told them that their mother could die in a few years. He told his children that their mother was physically weak after giving birth to them. He even wondered why they weren’t grateful for it.

Olivia initially felt guilty. But now she looks back on it, she believes her father was making her feel guilty for the bare minimum a couple does when they actually plan to have a child. Moreover, Olivia felt that it was harsh for a father to say to his kids that their mother was going to die.
