Amy’s divorce was also a chaotic one, and things didn’t turn out in her favor. But it seems that her split has been affecting her mental health now. Tammy recently opened up about the same and wondered if her sister was facing a mid-life crisis breakdown. Is Amy fine?

Divorces have never been an easy thing to deal with! They always come with arguments, regrets, and heartbreaks. 1000 Lb Sisters is currently documenting this same phase of Amy’s in which she is dealing with a lot of hardships.

Amy is struggling with all the accusations that Michael put on her. Not only this, but the estranged couple is also battling for the legal rights of their kids in a custody battle. Hence, it is evident that all these things have now started to affect Amy’s mental health.

Tammy recently expressed her concern about Amy facing a “midlife crisis breakdown.” She explained how the latter hadn’t been taking her “medication” for a while. The 1000 Lb Sisters celeb added that her sister had been abstaining from sleeping with her CPAP machine that basically helps her breathe because of her sleep apnea issues.

She and her other sisters, Amanda Halterman and Misty Slaton, decided to confront Amy about her deteriorating mental health. They wanted to talk to her and understand what she was actually going through. However, the latter was in no mood to have any kind of conversation and ended up storming out of the room. The star was quick to state that she felt Amy was having a “mental breakdown” just the way she had in the past. She added, “This is her breaking.”

1000 Lb Sisters: Tammy Believes That Amy’s Divorce Made Her Sick!

Tammy is sure about the fact that Amy’s mental health issues are all because of her divorce. She believes that ever since the latter left Michael, she has been struggling with a “midlife crisis breakdown.” In an episode of 1000 Lb Sisters, the celeb explained how all these things had started to make Amy “sick.”

She stated that she wanted to help Amy. But she explained how “hard” it beca,e to talk to the latter because of the ongoing custody battle for Gage, 3, and Glenn, 18 months.

Amy’s condition has reminded Tammy of the time when she was also struggling with mental health problems. She admitted that she had been in her shoes and that she stopped caring for herself and everyone else. The celeb added, “I do know how hard it is to pull yourself out of it.”

Tammy is able to relate to everything Amy is undergoing. She is concerned about her, but she isn’t able to help at all. The latter seems to have anger issues, because of which she perhaps isn’t opening up to anyone and is raising concern among her loved ones.
