1000 Lb Sisters: Amy Slaton’s Pricey Meet & Greet Leaves Fans Fuming — It Is Fair Or Too Far?

TLC: AMY

1000 Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton announced her meet-and-greet recently, but fans got divided as they ripped her off. The cost of meeting her in person is way too much, which drew heat from all over social media. This isn’t the first time she dropped such a fan event. Previously, she planned a quick meetup in a pizza place.

Amy teamed up with Brian for the last meetup. While everyone expected her to go solo then, she brought him after turning into her fiance. She signed a big portrait and others during that time. Also, she charged fans to click selfies or pictures with her and her partner. Not only did she take the opportunity of her reality TV career to earn extra income, but her siblings also participated in live shows as guests.

1000 Lb Sisters: Amy Compares Her Filtered vs Unfiltered Picture!

Amy Slaton has been active on Instagram lately, posting her craftworks to showcase her talent. Amidst her making profits from selling off her pieces, she took some time out to flaunt her beauty. The latest picture she uploaded six days ago had her in both filter and raw versions. The first slide showed her using a beauty filter over the real one.

Amy admitted that whether she has a filter on herself or not, she is beautiful in both ways. Her admiration for herself is a result of her self-confidence, which she has intentionally cultivated to overcome the hatred she often receives from the outside world. The reality star in Season 7 called herself independent after her drug arrest, which Tammy confronted her about. However, she has gained appreciation for her lovely freckles, and they are loving her less filtered snaps more.

1000 Lb Sisters: Amy Charges Big Buck For A Selfie!

Amy Slaton went live on Instagram with a post about organizing her next paid meet-and-greet, scheduled for Saturday, September 13. While she might have thought it was a treat for fans, she received mixed opinions for putting up the poster. Among some ardent fans, there were many who criticized her harshly with their debate-filled comments.

“Wanna meet me in person??? It just me this time solo!!!” Amy wrote in the post’s caption. The special event will be hosted from 10 am to 4 pm on that day, and the location she chose is Dawson Springs, Kentucky. The TLC star shocked netizens with $20 for a selfie and $30 for an autograph.

However, Amy also shared that she might carry some of her authentic artworks to sell. The excitement spread quickly, despite Amy creating outrage over the mention of the costs of her time. A fan under the post asked her why she kept the prices high, as many can’t afford them.

Though the person said they are Amy’s biggest fan, the bucks are expensive for them. The others tried to justify, saying it’s a standard charge for any celebrity associated with television. Another shared their past experience of Tammy and Amy meeting during their initial weight loss days, when they were most concerned about public. Stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for further updates.
