90 Day Fiance: Angela Deem Had 5 Surgeries In A Day & Lost 90 LBs
The famous reality TV star will be back to entertain us in the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiance. However, she will likely amaze us all with her brand-new look. Us Weekly reports that Angela Deem went through some weight-loss surgeries. Due to those, she has lost around 85 to 90 Lbs already. She has made significant changes to her lifestyle after going through a total of five surgeries in a single day. These include gastric sleeve surgery, liposuction on her back, a breast reduction surgery, amongst others.
Besides, this is not the end of the weight loss journey. The TLC celebrity wants to continue making changes to her body. She explained that she always wanted to lose weight and enhance her look for her husband Michael “because of his age.” Ilesanmi, who is 32 right now, is over two decades younger than his 55-year-old American wife. Well, Angela has always been intimidated because of their age difference and the way she looks. She’s developed trust issues as her husband is often surrounded or approached by many young girls. However, on the other hand, Deem also mentioned that she got the weight loss surgeries for herself as she felt like she would’ve “died without” them.
Angela got the surgery against her husband’s wish. Michael didn’t think that his wife needs to get weight loss surgery. During a discussion on the topic, he even said that he like the way Angela is and wouldn’t want to change her. However, Deem was ready to go against Michael as she felt that she didn’t feel as young as she used to be. In fact, the 90 Day Fiance star wasn’t really nervous before her operation. On the other hand, she even decided to get a breast reduction as she didn’t want to go “back and forth to California.” Hence, Angela eventually does everything she can while she is there and ended up getting five surgeries on the same day.
90 Day Fiance: Angela’s Post-Surgery Healing Process Was Difficult
When asked about how she felt after her weight loss surgery, Angela says that the first three months post-surgery were the hardest months of her life. She also expressed that the post-surgery healing process is a journey. While it’s certainly a physical journey, it is also emotional. People think that everything will change after the operation. However, for an initial couple of months, she couldn’t even eat. As per the looks, Deem’s healing process was quite hard on her.
After all those difficulties, the TLC celebrity feels a lot better than before. Moreover, the silver lining of this step is that she can spend more time with her family and husband. She eventually adds that she took the weight-loss for herself to stay alive. However, it was also to benefit her loved-ones. Angela Deem also revealed her pictures on her social media.
