’90 Day Fiance’: Annie and David Facing Anti-Asian Hate, Tease Quarantine Spinoff

David and Annie are set to tease the new 90 Day Fiance Spinoff TLC is about to air. It will feature many 90 Day Fiance alums and their lives in quarantine. Among the 40 cast members, Annie and David are two of the fan favorites. However, at present, there is a chance that they might have been on a not-so-favorite list despite their free of negativities lifestyle. Let’s take a look. 

90 Day Fiance: Anti-Asian Messages Targeting Annie?

In the sneak peek, Annie and David film themselves going to an Asian marketplace from where Annie likes to stock up on groceries. It’s Annie’s favorite place for grocery shopping. David made a remark that they don’t have Jasmine rice which they usually do. Amid the crisis, he is also concerned about his wife being the victim of attacks due to the outbreak.

The hatred against Asians has risen in the world because of the current coronavirus outbreak. David revealed that ever since the outbreak took a dangerous form, Annie has been receiving anti-Asian and threatening messages in her inbox. 

90 Day Fiance: David Gives a lesson On What Defines Us As People

David stated that we are in a world where most people are looking for an outlet for their anger. They are definitely not happy about the current situation. However, he emphasized the fact that no one is. How people react to such a situation defines them. As they roam around the aisles of the store, he said that going out with Annie doesn’t feel as safe as it used to be. 

Annie replied that it’s the reason why she likes Asian markets. They’re all Asians there and they don’t look down on each other. David has also stated that the main reason behind most people getting depressed is that they’re watching the news all the time. He also said that nothing that the news channels show right now will make a person feel either better or worse. Considering that the fans are also living their lives locked down amid the crisis, they are glad to share their journey. 

90 Day Fiance: David Stated There Is No Need For Hate

David stated that just like everyone else, they are worried and stressed out. They have been connecting with family and friends all over the world. However, there was a hate message on David’s social media as well as in Annie’s inbox. He said that it was racist and that there is no need for all the hate. He also stated that COVID-19 is the enemy of all people and it doesn’t see a race.
