By being on one of the most popular reality TV shows of all time, Ashley has gained some spotlight. She is the center of attention, and the common masses love juicy tidbits on people who are famous. An assault occurred with Ashley in her past, and a former associate has been blackmailing her about a possible leak. When Ashley though that this can go out of hand, she contacted a famous reality TV blogger she trusted and revealed the story.
According to Inquisitr, she wasn’t sure of how the other tabloids were going to portray her. Since it’s a sensitive subject, she thinks that her trusted blogger will maintain dignity. At the time of the attack, she used to work in a bar in York City. A 35-year-old man assaulted her and tried to rob her. Despite her telling him that she didn’t have any money, he didn’t leave Ashley alone.
He pushed her into his car after tying her hands and raped her. The man also threatened to kill her. Somehow, she hit him with her bag and managed to escape. Using DNA evidence, the police found the attacker three years later. It turned out that he was already in prison for theft just a few weeks later after the incident.

Ashley recovered from the incident, but her life hasn’t been a smooth sail even afterwards. As for her relationship with Jay, she describes it as a major heartbreak. He was chatting with random women on dating websites which forced Ashley to file for divorce. Her battle with Lupus was another major roadblock to her happiness. Somehow, she managed to forgive Jay and withdrew the divorce papers. But he cheated on her again, and she threw him out of the house.
Jay broke into her place while she was on a vacation and Ashley reported him to the police. She also filed a PFA and Jay violated it. He got into trouble and ICE detained him. Recently, his boss bailed him out for a huge price. All Ashley wants now is for Jay to leave her alone. As for her terrorizer, she confronted him and the court and addressed her attacker.
