90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Ash Admits to Joining The Show to Meet Avery In Person, Not Together While Applying

TLC

Avery and Ash ended their relationship after they discovered that they weren’t compatible. Fans thought that they were a great couple initially. However, gradually, the differences started surfacing. Ash Naeck recently revealed that the couple wasn’t even together before they applied for appearing on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days.

We have seen the couple engaging in an on again off again kind of relationship. What started with a simple compliment from the Australian relationship coach for Avery turned into an online fling. However, Ash admitted that he agreed to be on the show so as to take his online romance offline and meet Avery in person. Let’s take a detailed look at this.

90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Avery and Ash’s Unstable Relationship

Since Ash was a relationship coach, Avery didn’t feel comfortable about him being around women so much. She also complained about him constantly texting women even when they were together in person. She even went to one of his relationship seminars only to discover that he was spewing sexist statements which she didn’t agree with. He lied to Avery about being divorced for 10 years which made matters worse. Ash’s ex-wife eventually met Avery and told her that she is definitely not okay with Ash taking their son to a different country.

As the couple grew further apart, Avery asked for a break to think things over. However, Ash broke it off with her saying that they don’t need a break to mend their differences. According to him, if the commitment is there, they can easily do so without a break. Meanwhile, as Avery questioned the authenticity of his statements, Ash pointed out that the reason was that she broke up with him a lot. In the end, he started to wonder how many times she had to break up to sort things out.

Ash and Avery’s Meeting, a Chance to Reconcile and Sort Through Issues

In a podcast with Kristen Moore, Ash revealed that he and Avery were not together when they applied for the show. Usually, couples who are in a relationship apply to appear on 90 Day Fiance. Avery asked him to take another chance for making things work between them. So, he agreed to star on the show mainly so that he could meet her.

Even though the couple ended up being able to meet each other, they couldn’t stay together due to vast differences. Sound off your opinions about Ash’s admission in the comments below.
