Ed and Rosemarie’s lives changed because of a friend request. When Ed got divorced, he thought that he would never find love again. He had a daughter named Tiffany with his ex-wife. Ed calls her the best thing he has ever created.
He also calls his dog Teddy, his best friend. According to him, he is the only one always there for him and listens to his problems. He can’t imagine his life without his dog. Because of Tiffany, Ed decided not to date after he got divorced. All he wanted was to be a good father and focus on that.
Ed Completely Gave Up On Finding Love Before Rosemarie
Ed ultimately gave up on the thought of ever finding love again after his divorce. However, once, he was scrolling through social media and sent Rosemarie a friend request. He thought she was beautiful and wanted her to be his friend. To his surprise, she accepted his request, and they started talking.
A few days later, Ed realized that the best part of his day was when he talked to her. So, he asked her to be his girlfriend, and she said yes. Her exact words were, “sure, I will be your queen, and you can be my king.”

Ed finally booked his tickets to the Philippines to visit Rosemarie and meet her in person. They seemed to hit it off at first. But things got a bit tense after he asked her about her past. According to Ed, it’s important to know a person’s past before moving on to a new relationship. But Rosemarie didn’t go along with his request, and the conversation about the past made her uncomfortable.
Ed was not pleased and clearly mentioned it to Rosemarie that if she can’t open up fully about her past, there are going to be trust issues. In the spoilers, we couldn’t get the conversation that happened after this. But in a scene, Rosemarie was crying after Ed talked to her about her past. This means that there is something that made her extremely upset.
