The chaos-filled romance of Rebecca and Zied always seemed a bit unusual. Even though at the end of season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days it looked like a happy ending, fans have been wondering about what the couple is up to in the present day. As they make another appearance on 90 Day Fiance season 8, here is an overview of their current lives.
90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days Couple Zied and Rebecca’s Story So Far
Zied and Rebecca portrayed a mixture of some major cultural clashes and catfishing, it turns out that they’re more than fine now. The 46-year old Rebecca stumbled upon Zied on Facebook and their virtual love story began. Initially, all he saw Rebecca in was in pictures with filters. He continued to love those but was definitely taken aback a little when he saw her in person. Fans even accused Rebecca of catfishing him.
On the other hand, Rebecca was having a great deal of difficulty in trusting him. She had a history with a Moroccan man who used her for the visa and then cheated on her. In fact, Rebecca hired a private investigator and ran a background check on Zied. But she didn’t find much to tip her off. However, she herself gave some pretty strong reasons to Zied to not trust her. For instance, she lied about being married to her ex-husband while she was in Tunisia meeting Zied. She also hid the fact that she has been with a woman before.
90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Rebecca and Zied Married
In one of the episodes of 90 Day Fiance: What Now, we saw that Zied’s visa got approved and he was ready to head to the States. In April, the biggest news struck when the couple finally tied the knot. Moreover, the cameras also spotted Zied in Georgia during this time which made it clear that the couple was living together in America. Considering that an NDA was binding them, Rebecca didn’t share any news. But she did accept that they were happy and in love.
It’s unknown whether the couple got a chance to get married according to the Islamic customs in Tunisia. May we’ll see this storyline unfold in 90 Day Fiance season 8. According to the trailer, Rebecca is supporting him financially till he has his work permit. He also seems to be supportive of her American form.
