But once she started living in Ethiopia, fans could notice that she wasn’t able to adjust to the new means of living. Even though when goes out of his way to support his family, he doesn’t know much when it comes to taking care of them. This is one of the primary reasons why the couple has been fighting a lot in the recent episodes.
It seems like Biniyam has turned a blind eye to how he might be making Ariela a bit uncomfortable. On the other hand, Ariela seemed sidelined by the Ethiopian family. Of course, she is reacting in the worst possible manner. But considering that she is trying to cope up with the lot lately, Biniyam completely dismissed her feelings while conveying what is important in his culture.

In a preview for the episode for Sunday, Biniyam thought that the baby did not need a car seat for such a short ride. Ariela had to practically force him out of the vehicle with the baby. We also know what a hard time Biniyam’s family gave Ariela just a few hours after the baby was born. The entire fuss was about baptism and one of his sisters said that the baby would go to hell if she doesn’t get him baptized.
When they arrived at the apartment, his whole family was there which was a bit overwhelming for Ariela. Later, she was trying to rest in bed when someone once again came up with the subject of baptism. Biniyam kept telling her that it was an important custom. But he failed to realize that Ariela might need some time to rest and cope.
In another scene, we can see that Ariela was running out of the hospital room when they tried to circumcise her baby just after one week of his birth.
