It looks like Ron and Betty’s worst nightmare is going to come true. Before Julia arrived in America, Betty asked Brandon whether Julia uses birth control. He said that she doesn’t like to take pills to which his mom replied that she doesn’t mind taking her to the gynecologist. But it turned out that Brandon and Julia weren’t on board with his mom’s plan.
In the teaser for the episode to be aired on February 20th, the 26-year-old Russian Gogo dancer was taking a pregnancy test. She asked Brandon whether two lines mean pregnant or not. While Brandon’s dad looked shocked, his mom immediately went into denial and asked him whether he is kidding, as reported by Soapdirt. He told them that they took a test which shocked the parents to their core. When Julia came to America, the couple had to live with his parents due to shortage of funds. They spend most of their money going for trips in between their long-distance relationship.
Ron and Betty made the rules and told Julia that as long as they are living under their roof, they couldn’t sleep in the same bedroom. They also asked Julia to contribute two chores on the family farm. Since she was reluctant to take birth control, Brandon’s parents thought that keeping them apart was the best way to avoid pregnancy.
Julia made it clear in the beginning that she is going to try the farm Lifestyle out for about a month. But if she doesn’t like it there, she would go back to Russia. It turned out that she wasn’t a fan of getting dirty and performing various tasks on the farm. Living apart from her fiance was hard on Julia. One day she broke down and give Brandon an ultimatum. She asked him to move to some other place with her or she will go back to Russia. Brandon negotiated a deal with his parents where they allowed them to live in the same room. Julia no longer had to perform work on the farm.
