History is a witness that interfering parents give rise to the messiest relationship problems. 90 Day Fiance season 8 premiere, Brandon’s parents made things awkward by expressing their desire to know whether their son and Julia were practicing safe sex.
On Sunday’s episode, Brandon and the farm couple were getting ready to welcome Julia. In the beginning, Julia and Brandon are going to stay with his parents. However while on their trip to Washington DC the young couple will get plenty of alone time. This has caused Brandon’s folks to get worried.

When Betty asked Brandon whether Julia is on birth control he said no. He added that she doesn’t have any interest in using that. Betty then volunteered to take a trip to the doctor with Julia so that they could prevent unwanted pregnancy in another way. But Brandon quickly shut his mum down saying that he doesn’t want to take on that kind of responsibility. The major shocker came when he bluntly said that they were not being safe.
Brandon told the producers that Julia is not a fan of using medications. This eliminates birth control pills as an option. But when the producers asked him why they weren’t using condoms, he responded by saying that they are not as fun. Brandon’s mom tried to reason with him saying that they shouldn’t be taking any chances. But Brandon stated that everything is under control. In a confessional, Betty stated that an accident is just waiting to happen since the couple is avoiding birth control altogether. She really wants him to be careful.
90 Day Fiance Season 8: Brandon And Julia’s Non-conventional Meeting
Brandon spends a lot of time on the farm fulfilling various responsibilities. So, to give him a push his parents decided to sign him up on a dating app. But he never used it and instead ended up meeting Julia, his current fiance. Brandon’s friend was at a club and introduced him to her. They met on face time and their romance started blossoming ever since. Brandon stated that it was love at first sight and she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. They met in person and on his second trip, Brandon popped the question.
It seemed way too soon since the couple had been together for only 5 months. But Brandon revealed that he couldn’t imagine not being with her. He proposed to her in Iceland and now they plan on living with his parents temporarily. The plan is to save money for a while and eventually get a place of their own. But the big question here is will Julia be able to adjust to the conventional farm lifestyle? After all, she is used to the hustle and bustle of the city.
