Fans weren’t sure they’d hit it off at first. Their first meeting was a little awkward, especially after Chantel’s Botox comment. But surprisingly, Joe took it well and even asked her out on a date. He said he will make the arrangements by talking to the dating coaches. Well, fans finally got to see what they decided to do and where they went. In a recent promo of Hunt For Love, Chantel opened up to Joe about something personal. She admitted the age gap between them scared her. After all, the 90 Day Fiance star is 34, and Joe is 25. But Joe quickly reassured her that he’s not like most guys his age. He was quite confident while sharing his stance on the matter. This isn’t the first time viewers have seen couples in the show with a major age gap.

Well, Joe explained that he’s mature and doesn’t think like other 25-year-olds. He said the age difference didn’t bother him and confidently made plans for a date. Chantel smiled brightly and said she was excited about it. She even complimented Joe’s accent and happily admitted that he had been giving her butterflies. Fans could see the sparks from the screen and wanted to see how their first date would go.

Well, they had a surprise waiting for the budding couple. Well, it was a beer bath. The 90 Day Fiance star wasn’t thrilled at first, she didn’t love the idea of sitting in beer. But she had heard it was good for the skin, so she decided to go along with the plan.

Chantel also admitted she was curious to see Joe shirtless. Joe said he was looking forward to seeing her in a swimsuit, too, and clearly liked what he saw. He gave a big, toothiest grin as they stepped into the beer bath. The promo included a shot of the couple getting out of their regular clothing while they had their bathing suits on. Everyone was curious to know how it went. The staff also set up the bath for them at first.

As the two settled in, the chemistry between them was hard to miss. Earlier, Chantel had mentioned in her confessional that Joe gave her butterflies.
