Fans have been sure that Lana was a catfish. But to their surprise, the Ukrainian beauty made an appearance and finally met David in person. Moreover, he got down on one knee and she said yes.
It seems like they edited the scenes only to make it look like she was a catfish. David has also broken down the way the website works. We’re talking about the site which he used to interact with Lana. And just so you know, Lana can’t speak English.
He explained that the agency performs a background check on every woman to ensure that there are no catfishing scandals. It seems like he really trusts the site runners. Moreover, he didn’t give up on Lana and finally got to meet her, thus proving the speculators wrong.

Even though the couple got engaged, things didn’t work out between them. He gave her a cubic zirconia ring for the time being. He must have thought that she can pick a diamond ring for herself at some point.
When the producers asked Lana some questions about her relationship with David, she said that she considers him as a sort of soulmate. However, when they asked her how much David has spent on her currently, she refused to give an answer. They did get engaged. But unfortunately, things didn’t work out between the couple.

David revealed that Lana has taken the ring but they broke up later. As for their relationship status, he said that he doesn’t know where they stand as he hasn’t spoken to Lana for about six days.
David also revealed that he can’t talk to her outside of the website otherwise they will kick her out of the platform if someone finds out. Basically, he implied that the girls sign up for the site to contact men in hopes to get a K1 visa. However, he doesn’t blame Lana for talking to multiple men as he also spoke to multiple women in the process fo finding the perfect match for him.

David stated that it takes a lot of effort to get on one of these platforms. So, he understands why Lana is not going off the website. Most women don’t go off the site until their immigration is confirm.
