Angela was driving in a 2014 Lexus at 60 mph above the 35 mph speed limit. The cops pulled her over at the intersection of the US Route 221 and the Georgia State Route 56. According to the booking report, when a police officer started walked towards her, she lit a cigarette. The charges include driving under the influence and without a license. The booking report also suggested that there was a strong alcohol odor coming from inside the vehicle.
Angela said that the alcohol smell was coming from a passenger whom she picked from a detention center. She also stated that she wouldn’t drive in the evening. Deem also admitted that she consumed alcohol 2 hours before driving. The field sobriety test was positive, and the cops handcuffed her. At the moment, Angela refused to take a state breath test. She also mentioned that she didn’t trust the police officer and was in fear of her life. Eventually, the officers took her to the Treutlen Probation Detention Center.
