In a heartfelt Instagram post from October 2025, Erika confessed that she’s been “barely staying afloat” after moving twice, caring for her pets alone, and paying thousands in legal fees related to her property settlement. She even admitted to feeling “vulnerable and exhausted,” and revealed that she has already spent around $8,000 on legal expenses. She further mentioned needing more money in the range of up to $9,500 and asked for donations from her followers or to share her fundraiser.

Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time Erika’s request for financial support has come to light. Earlier in 2025, she faced backlash for what was termed “e-begging” after requesting donations for moving costs and her pet’s medical bills. In the official Reddit page of 90 Day Fiance, Erika is a constant debate amongst fans who once saw Erika as a positive person.
