According to what Geoffrey told the interviewer, he is confident about beating the charges against him. In fact, even during the pandemic, he is trying to get the quickest court date as possible. He calls the entire thing as an agenda focused on making him look like the bad guy.
He wants a full exoneration and is not willing to negotiate at any cost. He also revealed that the reason behind him not present at the Tell All is because TLC bowed down to a few thousand people. Geoffrey also stated that it’s all a plan to take his children away from him. Initially, they said that they might even drop the charges if he pleads guilty. But the victim pressed further on the charges.

Even though Geoffrey seems to be super confident that he is going to be exonerated. However, after some digging, we know that Varya stated that Geoffrey banged her head against the wall and dragged her across the room. When the officers went there, they saw the injuries. The paramedics also said that she was showing signs of concussions.
The fact that Varya showed visible signs of the altercation. However, later, Geoffrey tried to portray that she had all her injuries self-inflicted. But according to the forensics, Geoffrey was the one who self-inflicted some of the injuries. They handcuffed him and took him in. Geoffrey also kicked and failed to cooperate with the cops. So, they had to restrain him further.

When the incident occurred, Geoffrey’s ex Brittany made an emergency filing to terminate the co-parenting arrangement. She wanted Geoffrey to stay away from her kid. Eventually, the judge sided with Brittany and gave her temporary physical custody of her son. Before that, she took her son and ran away to Canada.
This took away the custody from her which landed to Geoffrey. She could have her son for one week a month. The court also issued a fine against her so that she doesn’t try something like this again. She broke the law because she feared for the safety of her kids.
Now, Geoffrey is saying that Brittany and his ex conspired together to make him look bad so that he loses custody.
