She sacrificed her remarkable life in the States to be with him. From giving up on her law career to leaving her beloved cat Hazel with her friends, she got together with him.

Matthew couldn’t click with Greta when he welcomed her at the train station. He said he felt very disconnected from her because they had last seen each other in person six months ago. Fans witnessed him mistreating her by telling her she smelled very badly. She sweated a lot on her way, which also made her feel embarrassed.

Greta joined 90 Day Fiance to air her love story with Matthew. She expected him to be serious about her joining him and her parents in England. However, he left her disappointed when she entered the house and everything was very messy. It was not just the size; the lack of privacy provided to her shattered her heart.

Greta revealed that it would become awkward to share the house with Matthew’s parents. She was told to sleep in the room next to them. She feared the walls might be thin enough to let sounds penetrate. As she went on to put her stuff inside the drawers and closets, the space was not sufficient to satisfy her. She cried inconsolably, saying it’s silly of her, but she didn’t know what to do.

On Season 7 of The Other Way of 90 Day Fiance, Matthew’s parents sat down with their son on the couch to discuss Greta. They asked if she was exhausted from traveling. By the time he could explain, Greta greeted them at the door, and his mom hugged her. Even his dad welcomed her with open arms into their family.

Greta looked overwhelmed by Matthew’s parents’ acceptance of her. She really doubted her decision before, but their love and gratitude towards her changed her mind. His mom said that they were relieved that their son found his soulmate in Greta. His dad roasted him a bit for being Mr. Grumpy. 

Matthew was as anxious as Greta was. But everything went well because his mom ordered a vegan three-tier cake for them, which was kept in their refrigerator. They informed the Tinder app couple that they have made some space in the fridge for storing their vegan items. This got Greta emotional, who also seemed relaxed.

Greta and Matthew each tasted a slice of the cake. His mom asked her to rest soon, and he joked that he was also tired. In the confession, Greta explained that since her mom passed away, she had never had a nice family time. She hesitated first to interact with them, but found them a blessing.
