Since Andrei and Libby landed in Moldova, something has gotten into him. And it’s not something only his wife noticed. Most fans believe that he has been extra harsh with her over a recent couple of episodes of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After. However, the Moldovan reality TV star defended himself over his harsh treatment of his wife. Let’s take a look.
Andrei Doesn’t Think He Was Rude
The couple recently spoke to ET in which Andrei defended himself saying that he wasn’t rude at all. Shocking, isn’t it? But what comes next will calm your nerves. Elizabeth chimed in and stated that in Andrei’s culture, they are cutthroat and blunt. She feels like it’s hard for people to digest and not everyone will be able to handle his tone.
During an argument, TLC has to bleep some of Andrei’s statements. Even after that, he didn’t apologize. To that, Andrei said that he can curse a lot. He admitted to having some major friction in the relationship, after which the couple exploded into a fight. Andrei added that Elizabeth is also rude to him many times and has a strong personality.
But in the end, he called her a sweetheart. As for getting along with her family, Andrei said that time will tell. He also thinks that it’s normal for Chuck to pay for their wedding in Moldova as he probably did the same for Libby’s sisters.

Elizabeth agrees that the way Andrei talks come off super rude. However, she understands where he is coming from. She thinks that he is not intentionally being aggressive with her and is definitely not taking a jab at his wife. She cites his accent, voice, and the fact that he is a man is the reason why he comes across as he does.
Now that Elizabeth is watching the show, she can understand all the hate that fans are showering her husband with. She understands the things they are saying. However, Libby believes that Andrei would never try to put her down intentionally.
Even though things seem to fall apart between Andrei and Elizabeth as they prepare for their Moldovan wedding, they are still together.
