It looks like Asuelu’s mom has turned over a new leaf. In the second part of the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After Tell All, she apologizes to her daughter-in-law. Interestingly, in the middle of her heartfelt apology, Kalani hilariously grabbed popcorn, and her reaction after that was shocking too. Let’s take a look at what went down.
Lesina Doesn’t Want Her Son to Lose His Beautiful Family
In an exclusive clip on Eonline from the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After Tell All part-2, Lesina apologized to Kalani for her behavior. She said that she is sorry for whatever she said to Kalani and doesn’t want Asuelu to lose his family. When she said family, she also meant Kalani’s mom and dad. Not only that, but she also told Asuely to stop roaming around here and there. For instance, she said that he shouldn’t go dancing and play volleyball anymore.
Instead, Lesina advised her son to be with his wife and kids to take care of them. Telling him that he’s not a boy anymore, she told him to focus on his family, especially the kids. Asuelu’s expression was blank throughout his mom’s apology while Kalani’s mom nodded. Her sister also seemed happy over the happy turn of events.

Even though Lesina seemed sincere and genuine while she apologized, Kalani might have treated the entire scene like she’s watching a movie. When Asuelu’s mom was done, the host Shaun Robinson asked Kalani whether she accepts her apology. Kalani said that she accepted the apology and has always been in favor of having a good relationship with Lesina.
However, what most viewers thought was a little bizarre is that Kalani grabbed some popcorn while Asuelu’s mom apologized. It seemed like she was hearing her but didn’t seem interested. In fact, Kalani didn’t even give a reaction unless Shaun asked her whether she accepted the apology. When she did, that time too, Kalani seemed aloof and looked like she doesn’t really care.

A few episodes before, Asuelu’s mom was adamant about her son divorcing Kalani and sending money back home. At one point, she even said that she didn’t care about the kids. Tammy, Asuelu’s sister even charged at Kalani which looked like a possible brawl. There is a chance that so many negative encounters might have left Kalani indifferent to what Asuelu’s family has to say.
