90 Day Fiance star Jay was first supposed to be in front of the judge on 10th July. However, the court has rescheduled to 17th July. Till then, he is still in ICE custody. One of his friends reveals how he is doing. Let’s take a look.
90 Day Fiance: How Jay Is Doing In ICE Custody
The Upper Allen Police Department in Pennsylvania took him in on 3rd July. After the second cheating scandal, Ashley threw him out of the house. However, when she was on vacation, Jay broke into her place. She reported to the police, and they advised her to file a PFA, that is, Protection from abuse. Under that, the police instructed Jay not to say anything about Ashley on social media. Moreover, they told him not to say anything about the PFA either.
However, he took to social media and announced the PFA that Ashley filed against him. It was then he had to surrender to the police. The judge dropped the charges, but he is in the ICE custody now, waiting for a turn to explain his side of the story. The York County Prison currently detains him. He is not a US citizen which is the reason why the police handed him over to the ICE right after the arrest.
90 Day Fiance: Kayla O’Brien Lends Jay a Helping Hand
Kayla O’Brien is a native friend of Jay’s who works in a strip club. She has started a GoFundMe page for Jay in which she asks the help of fans to get Jay a lawyer. She is trying to raise money for him to prevent him from getting deported. Jay says that it’s really hard for him to stay locked up. He has never been in this situation before. He said that sometimes it feels like he is going to go crazy. However, the support of his family and friends has kept him going all along.
She continues to say that he appreciates all the support and knows how hard everyone is working. She said that it had been an emotional and a wild ride. But Jay is hanging in there. Jay has stayed calm, positive, and so collected over all this time. A hearing of the PFA is scheduled on 17th July. Kayla O’Brien has been sharing all the updates with fans on Instagram.

Kayla O’Brien reveals that she went and saw Jay in jail. Jay has conveyed that the campaign is not a scam, and he really needs help. He is reading books and making necessary phone calls whenever he can. He is anxious and depressed, but he is holding up a brave face. She says that he doesn’t deserve this unfair punishment and asks for fans’ help.
Kayla said that she talked to him over the phone. She urges the fans to help him out as this is a real-life scenario. The current balance for the GFM is $3,420. It seems like it’s going to be a success.
