90 Day Fiance: Karine Flee to Brazil To Avoid 5 Years Worth of Prison Time?

90 Day Fiance star Karine accused Paul of raping her and got a one-way ticket to Brazil. She made him look like the bad guy in the picture. To some extent, he has been exhibiting unusual traits when the couple was on TV in the initial seasons. However, according to some speculations, Karine might have spun the entire thing just to stay out of getting into prison for five years. Let’s take a look.

Was Karine About To face Prison Time For Perjury?

Some fans believe that the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After star has been planning on fleeing to Brazil to avoid being charged with perjury. Karine has accused Paul of forcing himself on her. Even though Paul has denied those allegations, Karine stands strong on her words. This makes some fans feel that she is buying time to go back to Brazil. 

Paul posted a picture of Karine’s one-way ticket to Brazil. If Paul’s lawyers prove that her allegations are false, she could face up to five years of prison time. Since she has lodged a complaint under oath in the American court, she can get into real trouble if she was lying.

Paul is doing everything in his power to protect himself from his wife’s allegations. He even went live on Instagram when Karine called the cops at home. They didn’t arrest Paul and fans also got to see that it wasn’t a crime scene over there. 

Paul says that she might be pregnant with another man’s child. However, Karine hasn’t responded to any of his claims. In fact, she has been pretty cryptic about the situation. She and her brother posted the same quote on Instagram. 

Addressing the situation at hand, they stated that abusers manipulate the victim to a great extent. But when the victim stops taking the abuse, they start manipulating their loved ones and try to get their way.

Now that Karine has supposedly joined hands with her brother, the duo is likely to do everything in their power to prove Paul guilty. We can assume that there is going to be a nasty custody battle about who Pierre should go to. Chances are, Karine is more likely to win considering Paul’s criminal record. 

Moreover, if the second baby is Paul’s the situation will get even more bizarre. They are currently on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After season 5. Fans will have to wait for some more court records and social media updates to know exactly what happens.
