Since Usman’s mother is a devout Muslim, he thinks that it would be a good idea to take Lisa to a Mosque. Lisa told the cameras that she is heartbroken. The main reason behind the tensions is that the clock is ticking. While Usman and Lisa were in the car, she expressed her concern over Usman’s mom not being impressed with her efforts. However, Usman stated that they don’t have any other choice. He also added that it would be painful for both of them if they don’t get her blessing before they leave.
Usman Adamant on Going To America
Usman told the cameras that he will do whatever it takes to go to America. But if his mom’s blessing for the couple is what they are basing things on right now, then there is a chance that they might not be successful.
The last Lisa went to Usman’s place, his mom said no to the marriage and walked away. Usman said that a mother walking away is a really bad sign in their culture and is an indication of not having the parents’ blessing. Moreover, his mom was not the only one who opposed their marriage. His elder sister was also pretty vocal about disagreeing with Usman’s choice of a life partner.

Usman has made it pretty clear that he is really serious about going to the States and becoming a famous star with his stage name Soja Boy. In fact, some 90 Day Fiance fans think that he is with Lisa not because he loves her. But because he wants to have a ticket to America.
Nevertheless, Lisa has been complaining about their culture ever since she arrived in Nigeria. Usman also has concerns about her behavior and becomes worried when he anticipates what might happen in America if she continues to act this way. Before taking Lisa to meet his mother, Usman was fretting over how she would react.
