Mike’s friend Matt and his Ukranian wife Svetlana named him Godfather of their baby. Simultaneously, Natalie became the Godmother. The couple showed Mike pictures of Natalie, and he loved them. He said that he wished for a lover from a foreign land too. This is the reason why the couple introduced the two of them. Before anyone knew, they were head over heels for each other.
In a conversation with Svetlana, where Natalie was also present, Mike revealed that he is not a religious person. This was just after Svetlana stated that Natalie was deeply religious. He also went on to say that he has never gone to a church. Mike straightaway told that he doesn’t believe in religion.
Not only does Mike believe that the existence of aliens is real, he considers them as God. Things started to go downhill from there. Natalie looked embarrassed and tried to refrain him from saying anything further. Mike also said that he thinks that people who saw aliens in the past are a superior civilization. He believes that God is just a misinterpretation of what he thinks people saw back in the day.

Just as Natalie started to get a little uncomfortable, Mike made it clear that he respects her beliefs and will never stop her from practicing her devotion. Another cause of tension between Mike and Natalie is that she is eager to have children.
