90 Day Fiance newcomer Chloe admitted that she has never used a stove before. She hopped onto a flight from Boston to begin her forever with boyfriend, Johny, in Aruba. She didn’t think much of moving out of her house for him. Even her mom was left behind, along with her six-figure marketing job and lavish lifestyle.
Chloe was sure of her and Johny’s committed relationship. She fell for him hard during her girls’ trip to the beautiful island. Before leaving for the place, her friend Jennifer warned her. She predicted that the couple’s love story would end soon if he abused her or she couldn’t adjust. Chloe refused to listen to anything bad about him.
Johny loved Chloe for relocating to Aruba and mainly living in his house permanently. He cleared his closet and prepared his room before receiving her from the airport. But he doubted that she would feel comfortable in the end, given that she had maintained a rich Massachusetts life.
Chloe jumped in joy to see Johny with flowers to welcome her. The duo, reaching his home, had a conversation on two unexpected things. At first, she searched for another silk pillowcase that seemed like she had lost it. But when they got there, he asked what the purpose of her fancy pillow was. She explained it’s for preventing wrinkles. The topic shifted to her needing hot water, leading him to say it was costly. Twice, she said that she would pay the bill if so.
An exclusive sneak peek into Monday’s episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Season 7, showed Chloe’s Aruba move backfired, with the first step being unable to use the stove. His pirate man, Johny, looked in disbelief as she tried to make him understand she can’t just use it anyhow. He encouraged her to go for it even though she never lit it on.
Chloe revealed that whenever her family wanted to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner, she would take them to a restaurant. Nobody ever stayed at home to use a stove. She questioned Johny if the thing needs a lighter. He said it doesn’t need one. The Boston native was scared to walk into the kitchen toward the stove.
While Johny got the beach stuff ready, Chloe shared how she is capable of making eggs and other food on the stove. However, he has a gas stove that would give flame, which she couldn’t manage. For the TLC star, a flat and electric stove is way too appealing and easy to work with, as it can be controlled.
Chloe asked herself what she was supposed to do if the flame caught fire to anything. On fiddling with the stove’s handles, she smelled gas coming from it. She didn’t want to end up burning herself for the sake of living in Aruba. Even the mosquito repellent coil beside the stove was described by her as hot and smoky.
