90 Day Fiance: Non-Submissive Angela Calls Off Wedding, Couple Fights Over Polygamy, Sex Toys, and ‘Side Chicks’

On the August 16th episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, Angela and Michael had a big argument because of cultural differences. As a result of the fight, Angela said that the wedding was off. All this happened in front of Michael’s aunt Lydia. 

90 Day Fiance: Angela and Michael on The Edge For a Long Time

Michael and Angela had been out and about their cultural differences for a long time now. In one of the other recent episodes, she wasn’t comfortable with the idea of a third party assessing the couple’s compatibility. During the counseling, Angela made it clear that she won’t be a submissive wife no matter what happens. 

Grace, one of the counselors told Angela to please her husband if she wasn’t keen on letting him have ‘side chicks.’ Even though it didn’t seem very likely, the counselors told the couple that they were qualified to get married. But Angela told him that he didn’t have to go through with it if he wanted those things in a partner.

Surprisingly, Michael’s aunt Lydia likes Angela. She tried to reason with her and said that she should respect Michael’s culture. But Angela clapped back by saying that he should also respect hers. 

Lydia stated that she likes Angela. But she also thinks that she and Michael won’t be able to last. After the discussion, Angela stormed off claiming that their wedding was off. We know that there is a lot more to the conversation. But things are not looking good for the couple. 

Angela Mentions Sex Toys, Leaves Michael Mortified, Asks About Polygamy and Side Chicks 

Even though Michael told Angela specifically not to talk about sex, Angela went out of her way to mention sex toys in front of the counselors. Of course, Michael cut her off before she could go into the details. But for a moment there, he was mortified. 

The counselors told Angela that there were three kinds of marriages they could go through. One was polygamy or traditional marriage in which Michael was allowed to marry more than one woman. The second was an Islamic marriage that allowed him to have four wives. The third was a legal marriage in which the marriage was supposed to be monogamous between a man and a woman. 

Angela quickly let them know that the third was the only option for her and Michael. But even though she was not interested in a polygamous marriage, Angela had some questions. As we know, while Michael is in the process of moving to the US, the couple would be apart for some time. Angela was concerned whether he is allowed to have a side chick in that case. The counselor said no and told Angela that she should keep him satisfied.
