Tim said that he is trying to find a job but he feels like its too late for him. As soon as he said this, the Pillow Talk viewers decided to roast him. They had the answer to every one of his excuses. When he sat down to eat with Melyza, Tim tried to make a joke. However, from her expression, it was clear that she wasn’t amused.
When Tim said that he moved halfway across the world for her, she quickly shut him down and said for ‘us’. Veronica was amused and it looked like she applauded Melyza for her quick wit. Another idea that Melyza quickly shut down was getting married to Tim. In fact, that’s not what’s on her mind at all considering that she doesn’t trust her.

Veronica believes that it was wrong for Tim to not quit his job back in the US. According to her, this shows that he is not ready to sever ties with his previous life. Meanwhile, Melyza’s doubts raise again as she now knows of another thing he has been hiding from her.
However, in her confessional, she also revealed that even though Tim keeping secrets bothers her, she hasn’t been completely honest with him either. As soon as Annie heard this, she got excited at the idea of Melyza having another man on her side.
