We learned that Lisa and her Hypomania Productions served Sarper with a legal notice for breach of contract and professional misconduct. Several reports stated that they are suing him for approximately $35,000 to $100,000 for not performing a comedy gig after he signed the contract.

While Sarper has not commented on the legal notice, he shared a few Instagram stories about canceling the show. He wrote that due to certain unfortunate circumstances, he had to cancel the show and would refund the amount. Later, Shekinah reposted his story and revealed that Sarper was very excited to perform, but certain jealous people didn’t let him. This is an entirely new controversy, and things seem to be moving forward at a fast rate, with legal troubles now knocking at the door.

At first, Sarper resisted therapy but later acknowledged its value and agreed to join. Shekinah admitted it was tough to find the right therapist, and Sarper compared the search to dating. Although they still argue, Sarper said they now recover more quickly. He hopes to build a relationship like his parents, who have been married for 45 years.

Sarper is currently in the news for all the wrong reasons. Recently, a video went viral on social media, showing him looking shocked as someone from the crew served him legal documents. This happened last week while he was at a California comedy club. He was coming down from the stage when someone from the crew handed him a manila envelope containing legal documents.

This all started after he canceled several of his stand-up comedy gigs last week. On July 22, Hypomania Productions’ CEO Lisa Sundstedt filed a lawsuit against him. In the complaint, she noted that Sarper breached a contract and also attempted fraud, defamation, and several other violations. According to the complaint, Sarper broke the contract he had signed back in April.

Moreover, he had hired Lisa for professional help, and under her guidance, he learned how to write comedy scripts and manage performances. The contract also stated that Lisa would serve as Sarper’s head writer for six months and would have exclusive rights to produce his shows in Hollywood. They had scheduled an entire lineup of shows, but Sarper pulled out at the last moment.

Sarper canceled the performance at the last minute and made disparaging statements about Lisa without cause. Lisa claimed that she invested a lot of money into his career, including training and other show preparations. She is now demanding at least $50,000 in damages, along with additional investment amounts to be determined at trial. She also accused him of committing international tort and claimed that he badmouthed her and her company in multiple places. Looks like Sarper’s comedy career is crashing faster than it took off.
