In a recent story posted on Shaeeda’s Instagram, she said she got a “reality check on racism”. She wrote racism is still very real in this world. As a mother, it has hit her harder. She became a mother to baby boy Ayaan after two miscarriages. Her concern for her child facing racism is genuine. Born in a black Muslim family, the possibility of Ayaan facing racism is probable, and it concerns her.

The Trinidad native and 90 Day Fiance reality TV personality did not provide further details of what happened that triggered her to contemplate racism. As a mother, it is normal to worry about child’s well-being. But whatever personal reason she had for posting this, she didn’t provide any more clarification.

In the past, the reality TV star lashed back at comments about her husband Bilal when fans called him narcissistic and controlling. To provide context, he put Shaeeda through tests to ensure she wasn’t a gold digger. She lashed back at the fandom saying perception is everything. Even though fans didn’t say anything Islamophobic or racist, she wanted to put the notion to bed. She told fans to stop trying to defame him and sit back and enjoy the show.
