90 Day Fiance couple Sumit Mahajan and Jenny Slatten have had a tumultuous relationship. Right from the start, they had encountered multiple problems. Be it their wide age gap or Sumit hiding his marriage from Jenny, the two have never had it easy. Despite Sumit asserting that he wants Jenny, his parents are not willing to accept her. In the earliest episodes of the current season of 90 Day Fiance, Sumit’s parents revealed Jenny coming to stay with them in 2013. Back then, they knew that she is a Facebook friend who wished to visit India. She also wanted to live with them and so they agreed. Sumit’s mother, Sahna, shared that Jenny lived for four months with them. Meanwhile, Sahna loved her a lot. However, when Sumit’s parents, Sahna and Anil, discovered the truth behind Jenny, they were shocked.
Sumit’s Parents Disapprove Of His Relationship With Jenny
Anil and Sahna had their own reason to disapprove of their son’s relationship with much older Jenny. Reportedly, while Sumit continued his long-distance relationship with Jenny, his parents forced him into an arranged marriage. Sumit kept this a secret from Jenny who got to know everything when she came to live with him. At the same time, Sumit’s parents realized that their son is still dating his old girlfriend. Nevertheless, they have not accepted Jenny and do not wish to do so in the future as well.
Anil Calls Out Jenny For Being Older Than Him, Would Never Accept Her
In earlier episodes, Sahna admitted that she will never accept Jenny for her son. After all, she is 31 years elder than him. And in the most recent episode, Anil called her out for being older than him. The episode saw Sumit talking about his plan of marrying his long-time girlfriend Jenny. At this point, Anil asks his son if it would be fine to marry a woman older than his parents. He asks Sumit if he cannot see anything wrong in this marriage.
Although Sumit agrees to his parents’ concerns, he is not going to give up. Despite everything, he holds on to his ground of trying his best to stay with Jen. However, his father has a different intention. Anil vows to do anything to prevent and legally dismiss the marriage.
