Because continuing the relationship could be the worst for her and her kids. However, getting a divorce is worst than staying in Kalani’s case.

In Episode 6 of the season, Kalani went to meet a divorce attorney. 90 Day Fiance also released a clip showing Kalani confirming that she is “serious about divorce being an option.” Kalani was accompanied by her father in the meeting. 90 Day Fiance: The Ten Year Financial Responsibility Extending For Lifetime

Kalani and Low knew well that they are hooked to Asuelu’s financial responsibility for ten years. But back then, everything was hunky-dory in Kalania and Asuelu’s life. The couple never thought that they could be getting a divorce this early. However, things have changed now. Low and Kalani’s ten years of financial responsibility is extending to a lifetime, all thanks to former president Donald Trumps’ implementations. After knowing the details, Kalani is in shock and is feeling stupid about herself.

As per the norms, Asuelu will get all social support from the government, whereas Kalani and Low will be billed for it. Moreover, the reality star and her father will be liable for Asuelu’s welfare sanctions, food stamps, and many such activities. The only way for Kalani and Low to get out of this responsibility is when and if Asuelu gets deported, he becomes a citizen, or if he dies.

90 Day Fiance: Will Kalani Stay With Asuelu And Make Things Work?

Kalani seems to be in a difficult situation. Because either way, it’s a loose-loose situation for her. If she chooses to free herself from the miserable marriage, she will have to pay a huge price for a lifetime. On the other hand, if she chooses to stay in the marriage, she will have to sacrifice her happiness. What will Kalani choose? Although her lawyer and Low suggested Kalani to stay and make things work with Asuelu. Low stated, “it works out better if they try to make things work.” Kalani needs to be ready for the consequences she had to face when she files for the divorce.

Meanwhile, Kalani confronted in a confessional, “I would hope if we ever got divorced that Asuelu would go back to Samoa.” But, what if the same doesn’t happen? If Asuelu stays around, it will be a huge mess for the Faagata family. As Kalani and Low are “at the fork in the road.” It looks like Kalani has to make a great decision in the future.
