When Ben went to meet Akinyi’s dad, he refused to see him. At that time, she made it clear that they won’t be able to be together without her family’s blessing. Akinyi waited for her father for hours, but he didn’t show up. She left from there and told Ben that her brother said something that deeply upset her. She also told him that she wants to be alone for some time. Ben told the cameras that he came from across the other end of the world to be with Akinyi, and she wants him to leave her alone.
Moreover, she is not telling Ben what’s going on, and tat’s even more frustrating for him. It hurts him that she doesn’t want to be with him. He said that it’s definitely not okay. But at this point, he doesn’t have much of choice.

Akinyi posted on her Instagram story, “I am slowly regretting this.” Well, if you ship Akinyi and Benjamin, it doesn’t sound good! Fans think both Akinyi and Benjamin are nice. But they might not be suited for one another. On the other hand, the more likely possibility is that Akinyi regrets being on the show. Relationships can be as hard as it is. But having a new relationship portrayed on TV is taking it to a whole new level.
Akinyi blames 90 Day Fiance producers for making her family look bad. She calls her culture beautiful and states that they are very welcoming people. However, she can’t control what they show on TV. She continues to state that they are portraying Ben as an innocent American whom her family is treating badly. Akinyi then proceeds to call out Ben because he didn’t defend her family publically. She has been receiving a lot of hate from fans lately.
