When Yazan translated it for her, she took offense to the family trying to change her. After that, Yazan’s mom started talking to Brittany in a very rude tone. Before viewers knew, she was yelling on top of her voice. She also got up from her seat, closer to Brittany’s personal space. Understandably, Brittany broke into tears. First, she didn’t understand the language and was confused about people yelling at her. Second, she was trying to be respectful to Yazan’s family while they tried to hound her.

After Yazan’s mom was partially done with all the yelling, she implied that Brittany is a prostitute. Avery was shocked about the entire scene and stated that his parents messed things up real bad. Avery has been in the news for converting to Islam and marrying a Muslim guy. She herself is a devout Muslim now. According to her, Yazan’s parents went really wrong about the confrontation with Brittany.
According to Avery, Brittany is likely to completely reject Islam instead of embracing it. She thinks that Yazan’s parents had a chance to show her how beautiful their religion is but they messed it up. Since they were rude, Avery said that Brittany is likely to see Islam this way. Avery also expressed gratitude for her in-laws treating her with respect. She wouldn’t be able to deal with such behavior, the reality TV star mentioned.
